Shaanan Suthesh

Shaanan was admitted to legal practice in Western Australia in 2023. He has had experience in general commercial matters and debt recovery. Prior to his admission, Shaanan held various executive positions in a number of unincorporated associations and his university’s guild.

Shaanan’s primary areas of practice include:

• Mergers & acquisitions, including supporting the completion of complex and high value transactions;
• General commercial matters, including loans, securities, leases and shareholder agreements; and
• Business structuring and restructuring.

In his pursuit to provide practical and well-rounded legal advice, Shaanan has taken a keen interest in taxation law to better understand and advise clients on tax implications that arise in commercial transactions and restructures. Shaanan is a firm believer in understanding all aspects of a clients’ business in order to ensure that the proposed way forward is commercially sound for the business.
