Michelle McDermott

Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Major in Accounting) in 2001 and joined Mendelawitz Morton as Practice Manager in October 2016.  

She brings over 16 years of work experience from an accounting and tax background, having worked in small to medium accounting firms.

Michelle ensures Mendelawitz Morton is compliant with tax and business obligations and always displays a positive and conscientious attitude at work.  Her attention to detail is outstanding, particularly when it comes to the trust accounting.

Due to the firm’s recent growth, Michelle was recently promoted to Finance Manager, which allows her to focus on her strengths of being proactive, adapting to evolving technology and keeping up to date with the tax and super changes.

Michelle has many valuable personal characteristics such as honesty, cooperation, and communication.  She is a positive role model to others and an asset to have at Mendelawitz Morton.
