Mel Egan

Mel brings more than 30 years’ experience in Executive Assistant and operations roles to the firm, having worked closely with senior professionals and leadership teams both in Australia and overseas.  

Since joining the firm, Mel has become a key part of the team and is a go-to for just about everything that keeps a workplace running well.  She started in legal support, but her role quickly expanded to include people and culture, operations, systems, process improvement, and the occasional unofficial IT triage.  She is also widely known as our maker of culture, Canva-extraordinaire, and the person most likely to know where something is, how to fix it, or who forgot to do it.

Now as People & Operations Manager, Mel works across the firm to support the team, improve the day-to-day, and keep the wheels turning behind the scenes (preferably without anyone noticing just how much is involved in that).  She particularly enjoys working as part of a team and helping create a workplace where people feel supported, connected, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
